Tiny Daily Rituals

Long-term connection lives inside small, repeated rituals – not big, rare grand gestures.

Together, list the transitions in your day: waking up, leaving the house, coming back, bedtime, etc.

For two of these transitions, agree on a tiny ritual (under 60 seconds).

Example: a 10-second hug when one of you comes home.

Example: a “goodnight check-in” question in bed: “What coloured your day today?”

Keep the rituals so small that even on a busy or tired day, they still feel possible.

Consistency beats intensity.

  • Which ritual feels most meaningful to me and why?
  • What tends to get in the way of us keeping small habits?
  • How can we gently remind each other without pressure or blame?
  • How would our connection feel if we kept these rituals for 30 days?
